The module that executes all negotiations between buyers and suppliers, organizing the sourcing processes:

Information requests;

Quotes;

Proposals;

Auctions realizations.

In Negotiation you can:

  • Forward requests for information, quotations and proposals to the market.

  • Configure pre-established and flexible response fields;

  • Select approved partners from your private network and/or use the Public RFQ.

  • Attach documents or define other information regarding commercial conditions;

  • Analyze participants' responses in real time.Extend the duration or terminate the negotiation early when necessary;

  • Compare all desired information and ask for counter proposals if necessary.

  • Easily identify the best supplier or the best price per item;

  • Invite approved companies from your network or search and invite new participants in the marketplace;

  • Define the initial bid, bid behavior, duration and visibility;

  • Save up to 30% per trade;

  • Track bids in real time and view the best offer;

  • If necessary, extend the duration of the auction or cancel bids immediately.

titleHow do I find my RFx´s

Supplier:

If you want to locate the quotes received by your company: Access the Nimbi Network and go to Negotiate > Dashboard or Received RFX; If you know the title of the transaction, type it in the search bar, located at the top of the page and click on the Magnifier (Search);

If you want to find the quotes created by your user:

Access the Nimbi Network and go to Negotiate > Dashboard;

View all the deals created by your user in the My Processes panel. in the

Access Negotiate > Dashboard;

In the initial screen, in Dashboard, the My Activities and My Processes panels summarize the negotiations of your company (be the operations created or received by your company); after locating it, clck on the title to open it;

To verify the negotiations created, go to the main menu and choose between the Created RFQ / RFP / RFI options and look for the desired operation in the list;

titleHow do I Answer an RFQ?

Access the Nimbi network with your login and password, on the main screen, select the option Negotiate.

After confirming your participation on the RFQ, select the option Received RFx, find the desired quotation and click on its title.

Note: After accepting a RFQ with the status In Progress, will open a panel to answer the RFQ.

Verify the RFQ data such as delivery and invoicing data, for instance.

On the Schedule panel, you can view the beginning and end date of the desired RFQ besides the deadline for submitting your answer. On Annexes, you can view all documents which the buyers inserted in quotation.

If the Buyer sent any comments, you can view it on Comments panel.

Filling out your proposal is made on the panel Cycle, where the number means which cycle your RFQ is in.

On the example below, we are in the first cycle (Cycle 01).

1 - In Shipping Attributes, Choose the desired delivery method.

2 - In Currency, choose the currency for answering the RFQ.

Remark: If your client uses Systax, read the warnings carefully to fill in the corresponding fields;

3 - In Items, specify the expiration date of your proposal, At the blank space Expiration date, if you prefer, you can use the calendar;

4 - At the same panel, below the description label, Click on the desired item and specify: price, deadlines and taxes.

Fill in unit price and deadline in days. In order to insert comments and annexes, use the equivalent links, placed on the top of the screen. After you have finished filling out the requested blanks, click on Save. Repeat all the previous steps on the remained items of this RFQ by clicking at the magnifying glass icon (search) of each item.

After filling out all items on this RFQ, you can insert annexes and commentary for this negotiation, using the panel, Annexes and Comments, respectively. When you complete filling in all obrigatory spaces, click on Save proposal, then click on Submit proposal to submit your proposal.

After submitting your proposal, a message saying that your quotation has been published successfully will appear and the cycle is going to change from Pending to Answered.

Attention:

It is possible to send multiple answers until the end date of a RFQ, but only the last one will be valid.

titleI am a vendor, how do I change my RFQ answer?

In order to modify your RFQ answer, the quotation must be on time, with status In Progress, and be the closed envelope type. After answering, locate the desired quotation then click on its title.

After opening the quotation page, go to the Cycle panel and click on the Edit button at the bottom of the panel.

Then all fields will be enabled for editing. Make the desired change and click Post so your changes can be saved.

Once you access our portal, go to the Negotiate application.

See the negotiations sent to your company through the My Activities area.

To access an RFQ, simply click on its title.

titleHow do I respond an auction?

After confirming your participation on the desired auction, a screen will display all submitted comments, rules and negotiation status.

On Negotiation Summary panel, you can see your ranking position (if the necessary option was set in this auction), a stopwatch (which displays the remain time to submit your bids) and your previous bids submitted for the specified item.

Report your bid on the equivalent space of the item you desire. then click on Offer.

If there is more than one item, after reporting all desired prices, click on Confirm to submit your answer.

In order to automatically fill in the bid price, seeing the initial value set for the auction and the decrements or increments, click on OFFER ALL to fill out all items or in the HAMMER icon for bids per item then click on CONFIRM ALL to submit your response.

titleHow to look for Public RFQs?

To find new Public RFQs, simply navigate the Nimbi Network application Dashboard.

To participate in Public RFQs, simply go to Public RFQs, in Negotiate;

The Accept RFQ page will appear, where you can check the RFQ information, and if you agree with everything;

titleHow to confirm participation in an auction

To confirm your participation in an auction, navigate to Negotiate > Received Auctions > locate the desired auction and click on its title to open it.

View auction details such as: descriptions, attachments (if any), Items, schedule, contained in the General Data panel.

Once this is done, click on Accept to confirm your participation or, if there is no interest, click on decline.
Upon accepting the auction, you will be taken to the participants page to begin your participation in the auction.

Access the RFQ in My To-Dos > Negotiation;

Scroll the mouse cursor down and find the RFQ in the list of processes that will be displayed at the bottom of the screen;

Click on the title of the desired negotiation; make sure that the RFQ is delegated to your user in the Responsible field.

Before responding to your quote values, check the Schedule, Attachments, and Comments panels to find any additional data submitted by your customer to assist you in responding to the quote.

If the delivery and billing address is the same for all items, you can check it in the Delivery and Billing data panel.

Your company's response is made in the Cycle panel. To respond to the RFQ, the cycle status must be Pending.

In the Feautures and Currency panels, fill in the shipping and currency data to be used in your answer.

Remark: If your client uses Systax, read the warnings carefully to fill in the corresponding fields;

In Items, enter the validity date of your proposal in the Proposal Expiration field;

In the List of Items to be quoted, click on the link of the respective item in the column Description, to access the response panel.

Within the View Item response panel, navigate through the available tabs, making sure to fill in all mandatory fields (marked with *) and optional fields, if necessary.

Click Save and Continue to save the changes and proceed to the other items, or Save to only save the changes for the respective item.

Important: If you have an item that will not be quoted by your company, select the item's line through the selection box and click on Decline Item.

Include complementary data to your negotiation response using the Attachments and Comments panels, present within the Cycle panel.

titleI am a Supplier, how do I change my RFQ answer?

In order to modify your RFQ answer, the quotation must be on time, with status In Progress, and be the closed envelope type.

Check with your customer the type of envelope of the desired RFQ, if it is of the Open Envelope type, request the sending of a new cycle to your company.

Like a closed envelope RFQ, to change your answer, go to My To-Dos > Negotiation, scroll your mouse cursor down and find the quote you want.

titleHow to confirm participation in an auction?

Participation in auctions is by invitation, so be aware of these communications that may be sent by your customers on the Nimbi Network.

Open the invitation with the registered email or access the Nimbi Network with your login and password.

In My To-Dos> Auctions > Locate the desired auction and click on Accept located at the bottom of the screen if you agree with the auction information.

Under General Information, read the rules and accept if you agree with them. After that, you can define your strategy and put it into practice on auction day.

If you wish, you can consult the auctions sent to your company in My historic > Received Auctions, and select the desired auction as shown in the list.
