RFQ

 Is it possible for the supplier to view competing participants during a negotiation cycle?

The supplier cannot view the participants. The tool does not allow competing participants in a negotiation (whether RFQ, RFP, RFI or Auctions) to have access to other participants (if any) and cannot view their competitors' offers during the cycle. In other words, only the buyer (customer) has access to this information, suppliers do not.

 I am a Supplier, how do I change my RFQ answer?

In order to modify your RFQ answer, the quotation must be on time, with status In Progress, and be the closed envelope type.

Check with your customer the type of envelope of the desired RFQ, if it is of the Open Envelope type, request the sending of a new cycle to your company.

Like a closed envelope RFQ, to change your answer, go to My To-Dos > Negotiation, scroll your mouse cursor down and find the quote you want.

 RFQ Cycle Status

RFQ Cycle Status are:

Waiting Acceptance: Pending acceptance.

Pending: Awaiting a proposal.

Answered: Proposal submitted

Declined: Client did not accept proposal.

Expired: Deadline unanswered.

 What are RFQ statuses and their meanings?

The status of quotations/RFQs is as follows:

  • In Composition: Quotes created and available for editing before publication on the market (edits will be made by users with RFQ Negotiator permission level);

  • Pending review: When creating quote requests, you can add reviewers. This user company, registered in the quote completion course, will be responsible for reviewing the information before sending the quote to the market;

  • Returned: The RFQ reviewer may return the quote to the operator who generated it, if adjustments or possible edits are necessary;

  • Published: Quote published on the platform, but the deadline has not yet started, as a future date was chosen to start the RFQ;

  • In Progress: Quotation within the deadline stipulated for the participation of suppliers invited to negotiate;

  • Deadline Ended: Quote with the trading cycle period closed. At this stage it is possible to reward the best offers registered by participating suppliers who responded to the RFQ or extend it, requesting counter-proposals or a new negotiation cycle;

  • Closed: The quotation is closed and already includes the premiums due for the offers of the participating suppliers who responded to the RFQ;

  • Canceled: Quote canceled (action that will be carried out by users with RFQ Negotiator and/or Administrator permission level).

Important:

The process of including operators and reviewers is done directly in the RFQ, during its creation. In other words: this process is independent of workflow settings.
