How to create a Request?

The user profile for this action: Requester.
Navigate through Buy application, on the Dashboard click on + CREATE NEW > REQUEST. Or click in Requests, on the left side bar.

  • Include a title for your request, select the type of document, the priority;
  • Define if the items delivery and billing data are the same.
  • Click in NEXT and continue to fill.
    On Edit Request page, select the Currency.

If the delivery address setting was for all items, the Delivery and Billing Data pane appears just below the Currency panel, and you will need to select the desired addresses and the form of payment. If so, fill in the Additional Attributes.

  • On the Items panel add cataloged items by searching and adding new items. Or, create unlisted items to add in the Request.
    When you select Create Items, the item detail screen will be displayed. Fill in the red flagged fields, and then click SAVE.

    To include comments and attachments for the item, use the corresponding links at the top of the screen. The added item will be displayed on the screen. To add new items, repeat the same procedure.

    The CATEGORY field, although not marked with a red asterisk, is a required field.

    In the Attachments panel you can include files for the buyer that will handle your order.
  • Select the document by clicking on the clip, and then click ATTACH. To submit comments, use the Comments panel and click on POST COMMENTS.
    If you want to change the visibility of the attachment and the comment, click on the combo to define whether it will be Public or Private, where:
    - Public: Visible to my company and suppliers.- Private: Only visible to my business.Note: If you added an attachment and you want to change the visibility, you must delete it and perform the process again.

    On the Actions/Development panel, it is possible to view the Tracking and the approval workflow.

    After checking the information and confirming that your request is complete, you can:
  • Save;
  • Submit;
  • Save as Template.

    Note: If your current request information will be used for future requests, you can save as a template to streamline your process.
